Junior League Holiday House Tour

There are a few 'golden' rules I tend to live by.  I am always honest, I really believe what goes around does, in fact, come around, and I think it is possible to be in the right place at the right time.  It is because of that last one that I am privileged to say I am one of the many fabulous people involved in the Junior League of Hamilton-Burlington's 30th Annual Holiday House Tour.  I am decorating the  Master Suite and Girls' Bedroom with holiday decor in the Ancaster House on this year's tour.

In case you've never had occasion to participate in these tours, I will tell you what it's all about.  There are 4 houses included on the tour, and the houses are generously loaned to us for a weekend.  Once you purchase a ticket, you have a passport into these homes, which are luxuriously dressed for the holidays.  There is a variety in the style of house as well as the type of decor used. Also included in the passport are discounts at local restaurants so a lunch stop makes this a really enjoyable day out.  There isn't a better way, or a better place to get inspiration for your holiday decorating and entertaining.

As well, you're supporting an excellent cause and helping the Junior League carry out their Mission and Purpose - developing the potential of women, improving the community and promoting voluntarism.  The Holiday House Tour of Distinctive Homes in Hamilton-Burlington is taking place this weekend, Friday, November 9th to Sunday, November 11th.

Here's a link to the Junior League site.  Check it out and get your tickets.  Hopefully, I'll see you this weekend.
